Lead Restoration Technician Job Description
Beacon Restoration and Cleaning is a growing restoration company with branches in several states. We service the residential and commercial markets and are seeking a Senior Restoration Technician that will both lead onsite teams and restoration projects while also acting as a working lead.
Job Responsibilities
Frontline and first responder for our company
Working leads for residential and commercial jobs
Responsible for onsite direction of crew
Perform water extraction and fire mitigation services efficiently and safely
Prepare rooms / areas for work activities to include setting up staging areas and equipment
Perform demolition and general clean-up
Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing debris
Set drying equipment and complete moisture mapping
Ensure efficiency of the crew and that the job requirements are fulfilled during each shift
Responsible for accuracy of timekeeping recorded for crew, including break and lunch periods
Responsible for accuracy of time and materials charged to each project
Responsible for the completion and submission of daily hazard assessments
Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors and insurance companies
Document all job activity using proper forms and filling them out completely
Job Requirements
Ability to safely use hand and power tools, lift 50 LBS and occasionally climb ladders, stoop, bend, kneel, and work in hot, cold and humid conditions
Participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours service calls
Driver's License (Required)
High school or equivalent degree
Fire Restoration: Minimum 1-year experience
Mold Remediation: Minimum 2 years experience
Water Mitigation: Minimum 2 years experience
IICRC Certification(s) preferred but not required
Compensation
Salary Range: $22 – 26 per hour based on experience
Minimum of 40 hours per week guaranteed + OT at 1.5x
