Description We are offering a contract to permanent position for a Cash Poster role in BIRMINGHAM, Alabama. This role is within the healthcare industry and involves working on-site. Responsibilities: Accurately processing all types of payments from patients and insurance companies including cash, check, credit card, EFT, and lockbox. Ensuring transactions align with established financial policies and procedures. Producing a daily log of all batches processed. Assisting with the closing operations at the end of each month. Ensuring assignments and inquiry responses are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise in cash posting. Independently managing and posting cash, and handling financial records and transactions. Utilizing skills such as Appeals, Benefit Functions, Billing Functions, Claim Administration, Collection Processes, and Insurance.Requirements Proficiency in Appeals, with a focus on dispute resolution and customer satisfaction Knowledge of Benefit Functions, including understanding of employee benefits and compensation Familiarity with Billing Functions, such as invoicing, account reconciliation, and financial record keeping Experience in Claim Administration, including claim processing, adjusting, and settlement Understanding of Collection Processes, with an emphasis on overdue payments and debt recovery Expertise in Cash Posting, including recording cash transactions and maintaining financial records Experience with Insurance, particularly in policy administration, risk assessment, and claim management Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
