Description We are offering a unique opportunity in the telecom industry for a Collections Specialist in Birmingham, Alabama. This role involves a blend of administrative tasks and collections activities, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment. This position is a contract role, offering the opportunity to work in a team environment where the majority of the team is currently working remotely.Responsibilities: Accurately processing customer credit applications Maintaining precise records of customer credit Resolving any customer credit inquiries in a timely manner Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate actions for delinquent payments Posting payments regularly and accurately Providing administrative assistance when required Utilizing MS Office, particularly Excel, for various tasks Maintaining high-quality customer service while dealing with customer invoices and accounts receivable Multitasking and managing different tasks simultaneously Leveraging skills and experience in collections to support the team's objectives Requirements Proficiency in Customer Service, displaying excellent communication skills and a dedication to resolving customer concerns Familiarity with handling Customer Invoices, ensuring accuracy and promptness in processing Significant experience in Accounts Receivable (AR), demonstrating a clear understanding of billing procedures and account reconciliation Proven ability in Posting Payments, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and updated Experience in providing Administrative Assistance, showcasing strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating the ability to manage and manipulate spreadsheets effectively Knowledge of MS Office, showcasing skills in word processing, data management, and presentation software.
