Description:-Must have good mechanical and electrical aptitude on industrial machinery and equipment, and be able to troubleshoot electrical panels and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment-Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, schematics, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.-Uses Machine, Equipment Manuals and Electrical Ladder Diagrams to troubleshoot and identify faulty circuits, wiring and components in Industrial Machines and Equipment.-Proficient in testing electrical systems using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and ammeters, and insulation testers to ensure compatibility and safety of system.-3-phase, 480V, and industrial troubleshooting experience, assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, machines, motor control circuits, and fixtures.-Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.-Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.-Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.-Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. establishing personal networks.No PPE, medical tests or certs required.Skills:mechanical, electrical, plc, motor controls, maintenance mechanic, maintenance electrician, schematicsTop Skills Details:mechanical, electrical, plc, motor controls, maintenance mechanic, maintenance electrician, schematicsAdditional Skills & Qualifications:-Must have at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.-They are looking for someone who is 50/50 mechanical/electrical.-PLC experience is required for a 1st shift position, but not required for a 2nd or 3rd shift position.-Must have experience working with 3 phase motors and 480v wiring.-Must be able to read ladder diagrams.-Must be able to draw out a motor start circuit.-Must have basic hand toolsAbout Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
