The Cloud Network Engineer will join the team responsible for implementing and supporting innovative network infrastructure solutions for our PwC Global Cloud network including network services design, implementation, administration and automation. As part of the Infrastructure Engineering team they work with Architecture, Engineering, Operations and Product teams to implement and maintain Network technologies that establish PwC Applications are delivered in a secure and resilient manner.Job Requirements and Preferences :Basic Qualifications :Minimum Degree Required :High School DiplomaMinimum Years of Experience :4 year(s) in progressive roles managing IT operations quality control, process improvement, and compliance.Preferred Qualifications :Degree Preferred :Bachelor DegreePreferred Fields of Study :Engineering, Computer and Information SciencePreferred Knowledge/Skills :Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader, including:
Designing, implementing and maintaining network infrastructure in multi-region and multi-cloud environments;
Managing network services including but not limited to: VPN, firewall, WAF, IPS, CDN, proxy, load balancing, and DNS;
Developing automation for network service deployment, configuration and update;
Participating in design and deployment of highly available, scalable, secure and cost effective cloud solutions to improve efficiency and customer experience;
Working with Document network architecture and configuration, technical operating procedures and policies;
Troubleshooting application and network performance and connectivity issues;
Monitoring system availability and performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively, provide trending and capacity analysis;
Providing off-hours on-call L2-L3 support as needed;
Possessing experience in AWS and Azure along with other public cloud service providers and have the ability to design, configure and manage IaaS solutions;
Performing technical oversight of existing cloud network implementations and have the ability to drive network capabilities to their maximum value;
Working in network infrastructure design, implementation and administration;
Supporting large scale enterprise environments and experience with system administration of Linux and/or Microsoft windows servers;
Working with public cloud providers;
Displaying skills in TCP/IP, routing protocols, switching, IPsec and SSL VPNs, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, network monitoring and troubleshooting tools, packet analysis, etc.; and,
Working hands on with scripting/programming, network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills.
