We are working to ensure social distancing within our facility. We have installed physical barriers throughout our facility such as plexi-glass or plastic barriers between team member work stations. Each day, temperature screens are performed for each employee and visitor before entering the facility. Face coverings are provided and required over the mouth and nose at all times when inside the facility, and enhanced cleaning and sanitation is regularly performed.Hatchery maintenance mechanics are responsible for keeping all hatchery equipment running and the preventative maintenance done on all equipment. Mustbe dependable.
Must be able to bend, squatand lift approximately 50 lbs.The job requires some overhead lifting of about 20 lbs when working in setters.
Must be able to work in temperature up to100degrees in setters; however, there areoverhead fans in the setters circulating the air.
Must be able to climb a ladder at times carrying about 15 lbs (?)(weight of a 1/15 HP motor with blower wheel attached).
Must have electrical knowledge and able to work with electricity such as wiring, motors,light fixtures, running conduit, replacing motors andworking aroundelectronic control boards.
Mustbe able toclimb stairsonto the roof once every month to clean filters and wash out A/C unitsand make repairs as needed.
Must be able to climb a ladder.
