The position begins Fall 2024.The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of all phases of television and video production, with the ability to teach multi-camera production in both field and studio settings. Class assignments will largely support the growing sports media minor, with 4 courses per semester in Sports Media Production, Multi-Camera Field Production, including remote van operation and video editing, a practicum course offering hands-on experience in live sports recording and production, and Multi-Camera Studio Production. The faculty member may also create and launch new sports media and/or production courses, based on their expertise.The selected candidate will oversee the department’s National Sports Media Association chapter, assist with department and university production projects, and manage activities in the production studios. As an Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice, the faculty member should expect to participate in departmental and university service and remain active in the field, reflecting such activity in teaching and student engagement.
