Job Title: Production Worker – Chemical and Furnace OperatorsDescription:We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Worker to join our team at a chemical plant . This is a physically demanding role, where the primary responsibility will be handling tungsten powder and assisting in the early stages of its manufacturing process. The role involves machine operation, manual labor, and maintaining a safe, efficient production environment. If you are looking for a hands-on, fast-paced job in a manufacturing setting, this could be an ideal opportunity.Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery to assist with the chemical process of manufacturing tungsten, including loading and unloading barrels of tungsten powder into dryers.

Ensure that all materials are properly handled and moved through the production process.

Perform physical tasks such as moving products, walking up and down stairs, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment, even in a non-climate-controlled, dirty, and physically demanding setting.

Work efficiently and accurately in a high-heat environment, especially during the summer months when temperatures may exceed 120°F.

Perform general labor tasks, including assembly, production, and machine operation as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

Manufacturing experience is preferred, ideally in a chemical plant or similar industrial environment.

Strong ability to operate machinery and perform manual labor in a fast-paced setting.

Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment , which can be physically demanding and hot during summer months.

Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Must have good work history with a solid track record of reliability and punctuality.

High School Diploma or GED required.

Candidates with a background in mechanical, construction, or chemical industries are preferred.

Working Conditions:

Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM with a rotating schedule of 3 days on, 2 days off, then 2 days on, 3 days off (approximately 15 days of work per month).

This is a contract position with potential for permanent hire based on performance.

The work environment can be dirty , as the production involves handling a black powder residue . Employees will need to clean up after each shift.

The job involves extensive walking and physical exertion, making it a highly active role.

Additional Information:

Performance will be assessed, and employees may be brought on permanently before the contract period ends, or may remain on contract for a longer duration based on job performance.

Candidates must be able to work in extreme heat during the summer months.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
