Government program in Huntsville Alabama or the National Capital Region.ManTech's Department of Justice Division is seeking a strategic leader for the Enterprise Data Analysis Section (EDAS) Services EDAS Portfolio. The role involves acquiring technical expertise to support IT networks, systems, and initiatives. The position is crucial for the success of FBI missions and requires specialized technical expertise in agile methodologies, particularly the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The SAFe methodology will be used to align Agile teams and deliver capabilities, ensuring effective work prioritization and successful delivery. Experience with SAFe implementation is essential to modernize and enhance capabilities within the EDAS portfolio.Position Title: Cloud Solutions Architect (SME) - Enterprise Data Pipeline (EDP) Cloud InfrastructurePosition Summary:The Cloud Solutions Architect (SME) for the Enterprise Data Pipeline (EDP) Cloud Infrastructure team is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and management of multiple Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) across enclaves. This includes tasks such as backups, patching, upgrades, developer workstations, monitoring, and ensuring the overall security posture to maintain a valid Authority to Operate (ATO). The Cloud Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in enabling the team and managing multiple VPCs, utilizing tools such as Ansible and Terraform.Responsibilities:

Design, architect, and implement cloud infrastructure solutions for the Enterprise Data Pipeline (EDP) across multiple Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs).

Oversee the ongoing maintenance and management of VPCs, including backups, patching, upgrades, and developer workstations.

Monitor the performance and security of the cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify technical solutions, and provide guidance on cloud infrastructure best practices.

Develop and implement automation scripts and templates using tools like Ansible and Terraform to streamline deployment and configuration processes.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the security posture of the cloud infrastructure, addressing any vulnerabilities or risks.

Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Prepare and deliver presentations to colleagues, subordinates, and management to communicate project updates, recommendations, and findings.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

Minimum of eight to ten years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, and implementation.

Strong knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform.

Experience with managing and maintaining Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) and associated services.

Solid understanding of security principles, best practices, and compliance frameworks in cloud environments.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect are highly desirable.

Clearance Required:Must have a current/active Top Secret Clearance.The projected compensation range for this position is $122,600-$204,200. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
