Leidos defense Systems provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.Primary Responsibilities:The Configuration Management Configuration Analyst is responsible for product design changes and the effects of the overall system. Duties include ensuring configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations for data that is created from internal projects or supplied by the customer. Configuration Analyst will work independently on complex projects/assignments. Configuration Analyst will provide project support in creating/reviewing contents of CDRL’s, SDRL’s, item records, change records and other items in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. Configuration Analyst will write and maintain documents such as Configuration Management plans, Project Configuration Forms, program Access Control lists, desktop instructions, CM work instructions and audit forms. Configuration Analyst will oversee CM team members in producing documentation such as CSA reports and data pull outputs as required. Configuration Analyst will support tasks in a dynamic environment, working closely with the CM, engineering, manufacturing, quality, other teams and the customer to support products throughout their lifecycle. Configuration Analyst will be expected to work on site for a minimum of 4+ days a week.Basic Qualifications: This position requires BS degree from an accredited school with 4+ yearsof relevant CM/CA experience. Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing torelocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area. Candidate must have detailed knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management(PLM) tools. (Agile PLM, Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, Dassault,ENOVIA,Siemens Teamcenter, Aras, etc.) Candidate must have detailed knowledge of bill of materials, technicaldocuments, product drawings, schematics, diagrams andspecifications. Candidate must have detailed knowledge of and ability to apply standards,principles, theories, concepts and techniques of technicaldomain and hasbroad understanding of other related specialty areas. Candidate must have detailed knowledge and experience in configurationchange management principles and record types. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft office products (primarily Word,Excel and PowerPoint, Visio experience is a plus) Candidate must be proficient in Adobe PDF editing software or equivalent Candidate must be capable of performing in a collaborative engineeringenvironment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams andcustomerrepresentatives. Candidate must have good organizational skills and be detail oriented.
