Master’s degree preferred. Five years of relevant higher education experience or in a related field with progressive leadership working with undergraduate students (traditional and adult learners) including knowledge of transfer pathways, academic advising, recruitment best practices, varied learning modalities, experience with marketing and communications, and working with students from various backgrounds. Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties: Develops partnerships with community colleges and early college high schools, for the purpose of establishing campus and departmental outreach. Coordinates population and program-specific visits, and developing/editing articulation agreements to promote and streamline the transfer of students to the University and to ensure their subsequent success. Develops partnerships with local school districts to provide dual credit courses and facilitate bridge and recruiting opportunities. Collaborates across departments and divisions for strategic campus marketing efforts to develop and oversee comprehensive communication plans to partner institutions and prospective transfer students. Partners within and outside the University on approaches to marketing and assists in creating alternative pathways to degree completion. Aids in the establishment and coordination of data sharing efforts between the University and its partner institutions.Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only): Aids in facilitating transfer partnerships, initiatives, and programs to reimagine transfer recruitment, enrollment, and student success. Works closely with key campus stakeholders, including Enrollment Success, academic leadership, and marketing staff. Responsibilities encompass internal and external partnerships. Assists academic leadership in developing new pathways, refreshing existing pathways, and ensuring articulation agreements and pathways remain current and published. Develops and seeks new partnerships with community colleges and local school districts. Collaborates with the Division of Strategic Enrollment and Innovation to ensure efficient and effective reverse transfer processes. Collaborates with campus stakeholders to regularly review internal transfer enrollment practices with the aim of continuous improvement of processes. Communicates with partners internally and externally to improve transparency of the transfer process. Works closely with Enrollment Success on recruitment, admission, and articulation of transfer credit. Collaborates with academic departments to review transfer credit articulation and to enhance inter-institutional partnerships. Maintains a working knowledge of current and proposed state and federal transfer policies as well as current trends and high impact practices. Serves as a resource for questions on transfer, including community colleges, early college high schools, and dual credit. Assists in identifying, tracking, and analyzing transfer student data and outcomes. Performs other related duties as assigned.
