We have an outstanding career opportunity for aM365 Administratorto join a leading Company located in theHuntsville, ALsurrounding area.This role will be working directly with customers to assist with managing their M365 tenants as well as completing data migrations from other services or tenants into the M365 SaaS platform. The scope of this role is inclusive of standard 365 tools like Exchange, SharePoint, and OneDrive in addition to Azure AD, Intune, and leveraging tools like GraphAPI. A good candidate will be able to work with a project manager to balance the migration and administration workloads week over week. The estimated task load breakdown would be 1/3 working directly with customers, 1/3 executing M365 tenant onboarding and data migrations, and 1/3 performing administrative tasks for existing tenants. Due to the disruptive nature of platform migrations, this role does include night and weekend work hours when a customer's tenant is being moved. After-hours work may occasionally be required to assist with any critical internal system outages. Responsibilities :
Moving customer data from current sources to the M365 SaaS platform
Configure baseline settings and maintain consistency for customer tenants
Maintain an understanding of the latest features and best practices for M365
Collaborate with internal team and external customers to deploy and maintain security practices
Develop automation and processes for repeated tasks
For 365 backup customers, ensure that backups are configured and running properly
Serve as an escalation point for M365 issues and projects
Coordinate with customers and partners to ensure that M365 tenants are configured in accordance with applicable compliance requirements
Act as reserve SysAdmin for internal services
Basic Hiring Criteria :
Strong experience with Windows workstation and server operating system platforms
Strong understanding of the M365 SaaS platform, including Exchange, Azure AD, Graph API, Logging, and Compliance applications
Solid PowerShell scripting experience
Solid understanding of Azure AD and the Intune endpoint management system
Working knowledge of networking technologies (firewalls, switches, routing, DNS, etc )
Familiarity with NIST 800-171, CMMC, and SoC compliances is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
Solid organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects in parallel
Familiarity with backup platforms like Veeam is a plus
