Teksouth is currently seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our team, focusing on the development and enhancement of government software systems.Location Requirements: Candidates must reside in or near one of the following locations:

Huntsville, AL

Birmingham, AL

Atlanta, GA

Macon, GA

Warner Robins, GA

Security Clearance Requirement:

U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance are mandatory.

Public Trust or NACI Tier 1 clearances are not sufficient for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and assess the current systems.

Propose and implement improvements.

Produce detailed technical design documentation and level-of-effort estimates.

Develop new software systems.

Modernize and maintain existing systems.

Test new systems and modifications to existing ones.

Create developer documentation.

Collaborate with Database Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Quality Assurance, and Documentation teams.

A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Must be a U.S. citizen with an Active Secret Security Clearance due to the nature of the contract.

Security+ certification is a plus, with an expectation to obtain it if not already certified.

A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, with a strong emphasis on C# and .NET Core.

At least 3 years of experience with SQL and MS SQL Server (Entity Framework experience alone is not sufficient).

Experience in full-stack web application development (client and server-side).

Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, including services, dependency injection, and middleware.

At least 3 years of experience with JavaScript and front-end frameworks, with a preference for React or VueJS.

Strong understanding of client-side development, including JS execution models, HTML, and CSS.

Knowledge of web application security, including common attack vectors and defensive programming techniques.

Experience maintaining and supporting legacy software with outdated or incomplete documentation.
