Per Diem Aluminum WelderJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Per Diem Welder to join our team working on the Ship to Shore Connector program. The ideal candidate will have experience welding 3mm and 10mm plates and will be proficient in mirror welding.Responsibilities
Perform welding tasks on the Ship to Shore Connector program.
Weld 3mm and 10mm aluminum plates using MIG and TIG methods.
Execute mirror welding with precision.
Read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
Perform shop mathematics as required.
Essential Skills
Three plus years of related experience in MIG and TIG aluminum welding.
Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding is preferred.
Experience in mirror welding is preferred.
Formal craft training with the ability to read blueprints and sketches.
Demonstrated welding skills based on the results of a welding test.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to perform shop mathematics.
Experience in a shipyard environment is a plus.
Strong fabrication skills.
