OverviewBlueHalo is looking for a Software Development Engineer to join the Product Development Engineering team, which provides technical expertise in support of programs across the company. The right candidate has proven knowledge of UX design and be able to tailor user interactions based on customer descriptions of work flows. This candidate must also have a strong ability for mentoring others, communicating problems clearly, and managing a backlog of work to be performed on a schedule. You’d like to do this
Work on near real-time situational awareness displays
Integrate with a variety of autonomous systems
Develop, maintain, and enhance diverse software systems based upon documented requirements
Work both individually and as part of a team
Review and test software components and document test results
Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
Provide input to system design based on industry standards and trends
You’re required to have this
8+ years of experience in software design, development, coding, testing and debugging.
Proven Command and Control System development (4+ years)
Stong proficiency in Javascript/Typescript, HTML, CSS
Understanding of Modern Web Frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, etc)
Experience writing NodeJS services
Knowledge of web framework build systems (Webpack, Vite)
Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
Knowledge interfacing with 3rd party systems given an ICD
Familiarity with client security (TLS, data storage, OAuth2, resource authorization)
Strong collaboration and mentorship skills
UML Design
Active Clearance
