As a Supply Chain Analyst Senior you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.HOW A SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT● Performs supply chain and logistics functions, which may include, but are not limited to, material procurement, outsourcing, and vendor selection
Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements, with a focus on cloud-based and SaaS (Software as a Service) procurements.
Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.
Management of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution
Completing sourcing documentation in accordance with compliance standards.
Negotiating agreements with a focus on risk mitigation and value-add.
Ensures high internal customer satisfaction.
Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor’s Degree or additional 4+ years of equivalent work experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree
5+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurement
2+ years’ experience managing and executing services agreements
Location: Hybrid
Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.
Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.
Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.
Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process.
Knowledge of federal, state and local statutes, laws, rules, and regulations related to governmental purchasing programs, competitive bidding processes, and procurement management;

Experience with Cloud/SaaS agreements
Proven track record of gaining efficiencies through process improvement and automation
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Workday, Sharepoint and Fuse applications

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
