Title:Systems AnalystDevelop the Army’s Next Generation Sensor! ABOUT THIS POSITION Join a dynamic team of talented and inspired engineers developing a new US Army radar system. This program integrates state-of-the-art sensor technology with existing Army Air and Missile Defense systems. KBR is currently seeking a full-time Software Engineer to design and develop software solutions for a team of radar analysts supporting a rapid development program. This candidate would be responsible for providing analytical support, software V&V, system software version and test configuration tracking. Additional duties may include continuing development of maintainable, reusable, software tools in MATLAB. The ideal candidate should be a problem-solver, resourceful, independently motivated and detail oriented, willing to travel, and work in the office every day. The position requires good time management capabilities and communication skills and computer skills.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Possess at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, software, computer, etc.) or other STEM related fields (physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.) with 2 years of experience.

Demonstrated basic understanding of radar functionality.

Ability to perform debug, identify and improve problem areas in code and processes.

Ability to organize, maintain and process large data sets.

Candidate must be a US Citizen.

Possess or be able to obtain (and be able to maintain) a Secret Clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency in working and coding in MATLAB with working knowledge of coding in C, C, and Python.

Direct experience with radar hardware, radar architecture, and/or signal processing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members and leadership.

Knowledge of Software design processes and V&V.

Knowledge of applying Macros in Microsoft tools.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
