About the position
As a landscape construction foreman, you will get to lead a work crew for daily assignments. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, creating quality work, and meeting customer needs and expectations. You will keep efficiency and quality in mind, making sure tasks are performed within budgeted hours.
This is a fulltime position reporting to the supervisor and General Manager. You will lead assigned crew members
Shift: Monday – Friday (some weekends)
6:15am – close of business
What you’ll be doing
Oversee Crew members and all assigned work is performed in a safe and efficient manner within budgeted hours
Report equipment problems, unsafe conditions, and accidents to your supervisor and office immediately.
Train and develop crew members
Assist manager in performance evaluations, discipline, or promotion of crew members
Assure that work is performed to the highest quality standards in accordance with the job specifications
Accurately fil out any and all needed paperwork
Communicate daily with supervisor for all aspects related to assigned job sites
Become proficient in all Landscape Construction procedures and instillation techniques
Maintain a clean and organized job site, shop, nursery, locker, and truck
