Summary/Objective:
The Field Service Technician performs inspections on installed cabinetry and supports the Field Service Manager, ensuring a location's objectives are met for safety, service, quality and cost.
1. Drive the safe operation of the Cabinet Installation function within a location.
2. Inspect recent and repeat installed jobs.
3. Assist with scheduling service work.
4. Perform service work at new and previous job sites.
5. Deliver materials to job sites.
6. Interact with customers, superintendents, sales, and operations daily.
7. Partner with the Sales team to ensure outstanding customer service, meeting installation goals.
8. Partner cross-functional team (sales and administration) to ensure success.
9. Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.
10. Support attainment of department and company-wide goals
Travel:
This position requires about 100% local travel.
Required Education and Experience:
1. Carpentry experience needed
2. Experience installing cabinets is a must
3. The ability to lift 50+ pounds and work a physically demanding job
4. Successful in working in group/team environments as well as self-directed
5. Valid driver's license
