The Boeing Company's Global Services division is seeking an experienced data analyst to join our BGS Property Management team. You will take responsibility for overseeing our common property data, developing reports, and troubleshooting data issues. To do well in this role you need a very fine eye for detail, experience as a data analyst, and a deep understanding of the Government Property requirements and how lifecycle data is recorded and managed in the property database.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Creating, Maintaining and Updating enterprise reports using Tableau and SAP Crystal Reports.
  • Validating report accuracy and provide recommendations for changing the concept and how to capture the request data
  • Keeping standardized reports for Contractor Self Assessments and Property Management System Analysis
  • Automating distribution of daily/monthly/quarterly reports - as needed
  • Coordinate access for end users of reporting tool (BOXI)
  • Managing users and user roles.
  • Provide quality assurance of imported data, working with Tapestry if necessary.
  • Utilizes Tableau and leads teams through common metrics and data analysis dashboards
  • Works with Leadership to monitor and recommend new metrics based on data review
  • Monitor record anomalies and work with performing site to resolve
  • Managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.
  • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization.
  • Assessing tests and implementing new or upgraded software and assisting with strategic decisions on new systems.
  • Generating reports from single or multiple systems.
  • Troubleshooting the reporting database environment and reports.
  • Evaluating changes and updates to source production systems.
  • Training end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.


Security Clearance:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience with data mining, processing and analysis
  • 3+ years of experience developing and designing metrics and analytics
  • 3+ years of experience as a Systems and Data Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience designing, building and deploying custom data reports with SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, Tableau, or similar report development tools
  • 3+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 3+ years of experience with GOLD, Property Management system for tool classification, status, location and accountability
  • 3+ years of experience and/or training on FAR and DFARS compliance


Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Hybrid/Telecommute:

This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location. (St. Louis, MO. San Antonio, TX. Cecil Field, FL.
