1 Year Old Classroom Lead Teacher. Up to $15.00/Hr. 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. three days per week and 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. up to 2 times per week. Christian Preschool actively seeking a patient, loving, pleasant, responsible, sensible, punctual individual as the Lead Teacher in our 1-year-old class. You must be able to create and implement monthly lesson plans using supplied curriculum.You must be willing and able to take instruction, respond quickly to any and all needs of the children (which includes changing diapers and other hygiene needs). Must be physically willing and able to engage with children even when it involves getting up and down from the floor. Must be able to lift small children as necessary. Duties would include, but aren't limited to, gathering supplies, implementing classroom routines, playground monitoring, general housekeeping tasks, maintaining a safe, clean, and pleasant learning environment. Prior nursery classroom experience, a working knowledge of both Christian principles and appropriate childhood development a must. Company paid professional development through out the school year is mandatory. In addition to the proper qualifications, applicants must also pass background check and drug screen.
