Description:Our client is an independent insurance adjusting firm headquartered in Mobile, Alabama. The goal is to provide a better way to handle catastrophe claims. They work to provide a better service for carriers, adjusters, and policyholders alike. Provides capital, human resources, and a 24 hour assistance through customer service representatives, claims processors and administrative support staff. When disaster strikes, They partner with major insurance carriers to serve their communities.Why this position is open:Our client partners with multiple major insurance carriers, in response to the most recent storms they have onboarded an additional 1000 resources to support the incoming insurance claims and ensure they are able to respond quickly to get people back on their feet after the storms. With this surge of adjuster and call center resources they need to ensure they can provide support across a multi-building campus in Mobile, AL. In order to best support their customers Pilot has onsite Desktop Support to ensure the team members have everything they need to support their end clients. This resource will be working alongside one other resource in an overlapping shift (one shift - 7:00am-4:00pm, second shift - 10::00am - 7:00pm) to support these resources through the rest of the hurricane season and the surge of claims. What you will do:As a Desktop Tech you will work onsite in Mobile, AL and report directly to the Desktop Manager.Your primary responsibility will be to support the call center with any desktop needs. You will be responsible for moving and setting up PC equipment based on the needs of the customer. This will include moving equipment like desktops and monitors, cable management when setting up equipment, potentially some light imaging depending on the need of the machines.Additionally, this site has training rooms dedicated to training new customer service employees or upskilling the current team.
