You MUST know electrical and plumbing to fix maintenance issues on rental properties. This candidate will have knowledge and tools to diagnose and fix electrical and plumbing problems in rentals. This usually includes hot water heater, plugs not working, light not working, sink faucet leaking, tub not draining… simple problems that usually are quick fixes.
The individual should have basic carpentry skills to fix rotten wood, install a door, etc.
Basic painting skill to paint after a water leak, scratched door/trim, etc
Basic general labor skills: fix a cabinet hinge that is loose, loose door knobs, etc.
Must be able to lift. Must have a truck or SUV with tow hitch. Must have a cellphone. Must have basic tools needed for maintenance. Must have experience doing this type of work. Full time and every other weekend. Monday through Friday 8-6 and every other weekend “on call” for emergencies.
Pay starts at 18-22/hr. We also give a gas allotment weekly for Dauphin island properties. Raise given as one can accept work orders without supervision in all trades. All work is local. Grand bay, Theodore, bayou la batre, Irvington and dauphin island.
Paid weekly on Mondays. We do issue a 1099 annually.
