Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, reliable part-time handyman/maintenance technician to join our team as an independent contractor. This position is perfect for someone with experience in general home repairs who values flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities:
Complete minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
Perform property maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and small renovations.
Take photos of each job (before, during, and after) including property front with visible address.
Communicate job progress and completion through the HouseCall Pro app.
Provide accurate updates if additional time is required to complete a job.
Maintain professionalism with property owners, tenants, and managers.
Requirements:
Must provide your own tools and reliable transportation.
General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and home maintenance.
Ability to use a smartphone and HouseCall Pro app (training available if needed).
Strong communication and reliability.
Paint experience
Sheetrock experience
Compensation:
$75 per 2-hour job window.
Additional time paid only with prior approval.
Independent contractor position (1099).
Scheduling:
Submit available work hours on Fridays for the upcoming week.
Work scheduled based on availability.
