We are seeking a reliable and friendly cashier to join our team at a gas station. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the cash register, handling cash, credit and debit card transactions, and providing excellent customer service to our patrons. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and communicate effectively with customers.
Responsibilities:
Operate cash register and handle cash, credit and debit card transactions
Provide excellent customer service to all patrons
Maintain knowledge of products and services offered at the gas station
Keep track of inventory and restock items when needed
Keep the gas station and convenience store clean and tidy
Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
Basic math skills
Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands:
The position requires standing for extended periods, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
