Walter Wood Treatment Facility in Montgomery, Alabama. Starting Pay: $24 Per Hour The J. Walter Wood Treatment Facility is in the capital city of Alabama. Works collaboratively with staff in a supportive fashion emphasizing a positive attitude toward students, staff, and program. Teachers report to the Vice Principals and/or Principal. To be considered you should: Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect. Must have a current and valid State teaching credential, with a specialization in Science for grades 6-12. Three or more years of successful classroom teaching. Have a desire to work with at-risk youth. Be able to pass a criminal background check, child abuse registry, drug screen, physical, and TB test.Schedule: 3 days week.
