We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Logistician to join our team and begin an exciting and challenging career with SAIC. This position is located at Maxell AFB, AL.
In this role you will:
Support the lead logistician and site lead on all asset management activities to include but not limited to the following: Asset Management of all desktop, notebook, mobile devices, and monitor equipment
Coordinate and perform equipment calibrations and operational checks
Support Lead Logistician as needed with tracking, forecasting, and procurements
Update CMDB within ITSM, ensuring asset management is maintained
Support periodic audit of equipment
Perform analytical and logistics planning
Proactively identify problems/risks and implement effective solutions
Understand program schedules/process and proactively schedule and execute required tasks
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree and 7 years of logistics/asset management experience, or 9 years related experience
Active DOD Secret Clearance, or the ability to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance prior to start date
Excellent oral and written skills, with an ability to understand and predict customer behavior and response to communication
Familiarity with DOD Information Assurance (IA) requirements a plus
Outstanding organizational skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint
Understanding of desktop and notebook hardware
Ability to remain flexible and adapt to changing priorities with promptness, efficiency, and ease
Familiarity with large CMDB platforms a plus
Prior Air Force or DOD logistics or asset management experience a plus
