Delivery Driver (Appliance Installation)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a 26 ft box truck to deliver and install household appliances to residential and commercial customers. This role requires a blend of driving expertise, physical capability, and technical proficiency to handle installations, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a safety-first work environment.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 26 ft box truck for multi-stop delivery routes and appliance installations.

Load, deliver, and install household appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, and more.

Ensure proper handling and loading/unloading of appliances using lift gates and other equipment.

Utilize handheld devices to confirm delivery and maintain accurate documentation.

Work with basic water lines, valves, and electrical connections for appliance installations.

Provide outstanding customer service to builders, homeowners, and delivery customers by addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction.

Maintain a safe, accident-free work environment by following company safety standards.

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.

Adhere to traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.

Respond appropriately to on-road emergencies and incidents in line with company policies.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with driving and the use of installation tools and equipment for household appliances.

Previous experience delivering and installing appliances, including washers, dryers, , refrigerators, stoves.

Strong customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.

Experience driving appliance delivery trucks and performing multi-stop routes.

Ability to handle physical workloads, including lifting and moving items weighing 100 lbs. or more.

Comfortable working with basic plumbing, water lines, and valves.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Able to pass pre-employment screenings, including DOT physical exams and drug tests.

Team player with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to work in dynamic environments.
