As an established and growing Freight Booking Agency, are looking to contract with full time entry level freight booking agent/dispatchers for a national trucking company. Position is working with freight brokers and owner operator truck drivers moving truckload freight throughout the United States and Canada.
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WHEN APPLYING THAT WE ARE NOT FREIGHT BROKERS BUT ARE AGENTS/DISPATCHERS FOR OWNER OPERATORS CONTRACTED WITH OUR COMPANIES TO HAUL FREIGHT.
In addition to van freight, experience involving moving freight by flatbed, step deck and specialized equipment is desired.
This is telecommuting employment and agent/dispatcher is a 1099 independent contractor with escalating commission based productivity.
Applicant must possess:
A minimum of 1 year experience/knowledge in the over the road trucking industry.
Dispatching/Booking experience a plus.
1 year of logistic skills and customer service.
Above average computer skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Full time Availability and ability to work independently and be a contributor to the team.
Possess a computer, printer, and telephone (cell or landline).
