Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of , Dry Van trailers only and have a proven track record in delivery driving. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for managing your own vehicle while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards.
Duties
Operate tractor-trailer units to transport freight across designated routes.
Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety protocols.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
Manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to hours of service regulations.
Handle various types of Dry Van Freight.
Qualifications
Valid Class A commercial driver
Experience driving Dry Van Freight.
Proven experience as a delivery driver with a strong understanding of route driving.
Familiarity with freight handling procedures and load/unload processes.
Ability to work independently as an owner operator while maintaining high levels of professionalism.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations on the road.
