Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the Automotive industry at PELL CITY, Alabama, for a Sr. Accountant. This role involves supporting the month-end close and general ledger accounting work.Responsibilities: Executing bank reconciliations accurately to maintain financial integrity Conducting account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Handling the balance sheet reconciliation process to maintain accuracy in financial statements Overseeing the general ledger to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met Preparing journal entries in an accurate and timely manner Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting Ensuring a smooth month-end close by coordinating and reconciling various accounts Operating and navigating through the SAP system for various accounting functions. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is crucial for the role of Sr. Accountant. Familiarity with General Ledger management is important for this role. Ability to perform Journal Entries accurately and efficiently is necessary. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are essential for this role. Experience in managing Month End Close activities is required.
