GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Treasury Management Director is responsible for creating the Bank's strategy for all treasury management products and services including the development, implementation, management and profitable delivery. Oversees all duties performed by Treasury Management Officers/Relationship Managers, Senior Commercial Banking Associates and Service/Implementation representatives. Supervises eBanking Customer Support which includes the support of Treasury Management to customers and Relationship Managers. Provides Leadership, sales coaching, direction and guidance as the Bank's Treasury Management expert. Supports the sales force by receiving applicants for treasury services and completing the documentation; Explains implementation to the customer and follows through to ensure product implementation and training.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinates relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients in a book of business to grow sales, revenue and market share with relevant sales goals. Typically works with clients with moderate levels of risk and complexity of needs. Provides a full range of professional, technical, and general support to customers and bank personnel.

Works within stated guidelines to acquire and/or expand and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen share of wallet. Handles the origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of credit and non-credit products and services.

Manages risk/return and drives quality for new and/or existing clients. Actively identifies and mitigates different types of risk, such as regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks.

Focuses on client opportunities by providing ideas and insights based on an understanding of the client's needs and their financial well-being. Focuses on increasing client engagement and loyalty.

Oversees treasury management product installation and implementation within the financial institution and its branches and oversees the training of customer representatives who would sell products to the general public. Leads pricing and negotiation discussions with the client for treasury products to optimize relationship profitability for the portfolio

Performs customer setups; prepares contracts and maintains customer files; tracks sales records, monitors product usage and system operation.

Assists in providing a written response to a request for proposal.

Collect and compile data from the market place for effective market intelligence with the view to understand competition via cost / revenue driver.

Review and recommend policy, procedure and process changes required to meet treasury customer expectations and needs as per the banking policies.

Reviews current products for future adjustments, improvements, expansions or elimination, depending on market strengths and weaknesses. Ensure strong, effective market share of the products and services by providing direction and information on the products and related services.

Analyze, plan and organize a sales strategy that will identify customer needs and recommend products and services to satisfy those needs while consistently striving to gain their full financial relationship.

Keep abreast of the products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical services.

Requires the ability to interact effectively with all levels of bank personnel. Acts as a liaison with branch employees/commercial lenders and customers. Works with Commercial Lending Assistants as they will be liaisons to commercial clients for Treasury Management Services and support.

Oversee and manage annual treasury management customer reviews.

Serves on bank's Products and Services Committee. Assists in the implementation of new pr ducts or programs to help provide better service to customers and stimulate new growth.

Incorporate the sales of Merchant Services as a product line within Treasury Management and being responsible for growth and production in this area.

Helps in the coordination and support of audits and examinations.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist all bank personnel with customer relations.

Responsible for special projects as assigned by management.

Performs assigned duties with minimum personal supervision from immediate supervisor.

Must use time effectively and adept at utilizing small blocks of "slow time" to best advantage by further developing a knowledge base of other areas in the company.

All other duties assigned by supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor degree or equivalent related experience including five to seven years' sales experience.Strong personal leadership skills, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Knowledge of financial sector and economic environmentKnowledge of treasury products and services.Strong knowledge of NACHA rules and regulations.Ability to manage numerous deliverables in a timely and effective mannerDemonstrated ability and to communicate complex issues, both orally and written.Ability to analyze and summarize complex financial information, make presentations of that information, communicate its contents, and make recommendations for appropriate courses of action to bank personnel and existing or potential customers.Must be self-motivated, self-start
