Florence Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time kennel attendant / grooming assistant to join our team. We utilize our kennel, staff and assistants to their fullest extent and strive to practice high quality medicine while offering exemplary service to our clients. Experience is a plus, but we are willing and able to train the right candidate who has a desire to learn.
Responsibilities include:
Walking, feeding, and handling cats and dogs
Cleaning Kennels
Providing patient care including treatments and administering medications
Cleaning and maintenance of the veterinary hospital
Overseeing animal boarding and weekend kennel care on rotation is required
Assisting groomer, veterinarians, and veterinary technicians as needed
Carrying up to 50lbs
