CGI is looking for multiple Customer Service Representatives to join our Troy, Alabama team.The ideal candidate will be able to apply their communication skills (verbal and written) to provide excellent customer service in a client-focused and service-oriented environment. This position would suit a positive, innovative, and enthusiastic solution-finder with the ability to influence others.Your future duties and responsibilities: Responsible for day-to-day collection activities including contacting past-due customers to secure payments Provide excellent customer service Effectively handling upset customers Multi-tasking through diverse client-facing systems to document calls and transfer funds accordingly Understanding and retention of all necessary collection rules and regulations (which will be included in your new hire onboarding and training) Other activities as identified by the team. In addition to collections activities, the collector will be required to adhere to productivity and delinquency standards set by the management team.Hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm CT.Required qualifications to be successful in this role: No experience? No problem! CGI will invest in your future success in the role using project-based learning for one week of PAID training onsite at our Troy, AL office. The hours of training will be 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday where perfect attendance will be required for completion. Must successfully pass a CGI background check Must possess a high school diploma or GEDDesired experience, abilities and/or aptitude: Continuous self-development and improving job-related skills Intake and retain information Initiative to solve problems Ability to engage others in conversation Ability to actively listen and respond in a positive, empathetic manner“CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
