Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Field Service Technician is responsible for servicing, installing, converting, upgrading and preventative maintenance of all company equipment.

JOB DUTIES

 Part of support team sent in to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems

 Basic understanding of computer networking infrastructure

 Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with electronics and peripheral devices

 Mechanically inclined; able to use hand tools

 Performs preventative maintenance and general maintenance on company hardware

 Easily identifies replacement parts

 Participate in new installations or removal of old machines

 Completes all reports and paperwork

 Provides documentation for technical assistance with known problems

 Has a good working knowledge of customers policies and procedures prior to performing work orders

 Works well with the entire organization and escalates found issues to Field Service Manager

 Other tasks and duties, as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

 High School diploma or GED required. Experience as a Field Service Technician is desired

 Must be at least 21 years old, and able to travel within the US

 Working knowledge of AC/DC electronics; can use a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical issues

 General problemsolving skills

 Excellent Customer Service skills

 Understands networking with CAT5/Ethernet

 Basic understanding of Windowsbased computer systems

 Must be able to move 50 lbs.
