Description We are looking for four Data Processing Specialists for an immediate project to assist us with our ongoing audit. This Data Processing Specialist position is a long-term contract position with an organization in the Tuskegee, AL area. As the Data Processing Specialist, you will play a key role in reviewing employee pay stubs, ensuring payroll deductions, benefits, and other relevant information are entered correctly. This position entails working with large data sets in Excel spreadsheets and involves a heavy amount of review. The successful candidates will be handling confidential financial data for over 1,000 employees. Responsibilities:
Reviewing and cross-verifying employee pay stubs with data files
Monthly and quarterly payroll stub history reconciliation
Making notes of any discrepancies for the Quality Control Manager to review
Sorting and filtering data files
Assisting in Quality Control, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
Requirements
High attention to detail
Strong data entry skills
Proficient skills in Excel
Must have an understanding of how to sort and filter columns in Excel
Knowledge of pivot tables and vlookups in Excel is highly preferred
Payroll experience is a plus
Ability to uphold utmost confidentiality
