OPEN POSITION:
ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR
Seeking a highly motivated and organized individual with the education and experience to assist the Project Manager with day to day tasks related to commercial & residential construction. This position will require the candidate to assist in a variety of tasks to include creating & organizing project related documents, creating project schedules, ordering materials and other duties as assigned.
In the Assistant Estimator role, the candidate will become familiar with our estimating software and will perform quantity take-offs, solicit quotes from our subcontractors and vendors and assist in preparing estimates for our customers in a timely and professional manner.
Other duties will be assigned as the candidate grows with our company.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ï· Bachelors degree in a related field (or currently pursuing), or four years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
ï· Ability to manage priorities and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
ï· Effective problem solving skills.
ï· Possess a valid Alaska state drivers license.
ï· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
ï· Proficiency and aptitude in computer applications such as:
o Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Project and Outlook)
o Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam
o AutoCAD
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
ï· Pay will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
ï· This is intended to be a full time position, however a part time schedule will be considered for the right candidate.
