Gage Tree Service is looking for just the right person to fill the position of Branch Manager for our Wasilla location. This is a fulfilling, enjoyable flexible job for the right person. We've been in business in Anchorage since 1994, 70% of our business is arboriculture and approximately 30% is holiday lighting and snow removal. Most of our clients are our neighbors as we are primarily residential work.
We’re looking for a highly organized people person that’s good at operations. You’ll manage 4 to 8 people depending on the time of season. We’re busy in spring and fall, and slower in winter.
Qualifications:
Experience in management with proven leadership skills.
The ability to earn respect as a leader while fostering a growth mindset within the team.
Great communication skills. This is a people-focused role that requires the ability to effectively motivate and guide others.
A driven and goal-oriented attitude, always seeking opportunities for personal and team improvement.
Understanding of basic equipment repair and maintenance.
Highly organized, as efficiency is critical to profitability.
Experience in a service business, ideally within the green industry.
A passion for lifelong learning and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
Duties:
Overall manager of 4 to 8 people. We run 1 to 3 crews depending on the time of year. The owner is your direct report.
Keep crews organized and efficient so they can meet production goals.
Build relationships with clients through sales consultations and follow-ups. This will account for approximately 25% of the job.
Manage equipment fleet to be in good working order. We have our own shop and mechanic.
Make sure ongoing training is being provided to our team
Keep crews safe. That has to be important to you!
Pay and Benefits:
Salary plus a percentage of revenue, driven by you.
Pay is DOE. Successful applicants will earn $100-$120k. Higher drive, skill, and experience, higher reward.

Schedule:
Our hours are Monday - Friday from 8am-5pm with an occasional late night or weekend project.
