Federal Program Manager - Buildings + Places

AECOM is seeking an experienced Program Manager for this exciting opportunity to oversee the long-term management and growth of our Federal portfolio in the Pacific Northwest: Seattle, WA or Anchorage, AK. The selected candidate will take over an existing portfolio of large capacity multi-year contracts, work with business line leadership to develop and lead a dedicated project management team, oversee multiple project task orders from an executive level, develop and track pipeline and oversee compliance with regulatory and company standards, regulations, and quality assurance programs.Required responsibilities for the Federal Program Manager include a proven track record of:Managing and leading federal projects and programs, ideally for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC), the U.S. Air Force, or other Federal Agencies.Experience building and leading successful program management teams.Close successful collaboration with other Architecture, Engineering, and General Contractors.Managing and directing professional and technical staff to complete complex architectural and engineering projects.Achieving contractual performance and financial milestones across the lifespan of multiyear / multitask order contracts.Manages aspects of a program such as oversight of project managers, oversight of project controls or similar.Provides direction and oversight to AECOM staff and subcontractors.Generally has task and project management experience, including successful completion of several large projects.Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow managementAnalyzes financial statements and completes budget trackingPerforms work with minimal direction with periodic reporting to internal regional and Buildings + Places managementOversees the preparation of work plans and organizes project studiesPerforms complex assignments often requiring the development of unique solutions to problems with the support of the project teamConducts reviews and provides staff feedback for continued improvementBusiness development responsibilities including development of pipeline, arranging teaming partnerships, building strategic growth plans, and developing client engagement plansOversee and develop technical approaches and cost estimates for proposalsDetail oriented with strong organizational and communication, both verbal and written skillsSuperior communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills for a wide variety of audiencesPrepare, coordinate and conduct project meetings: Prepare and maintain the agenda and the meeting minutesHelp develop and maintain project schedule, project budget and risk registerReview Design Documents and Coordinate Design reviews with various stakeholdersManages more complex projects that tend to be larger in scope and dollar.Increasing responsibility for leadership of direct reports.
