Coffman Engineers is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer who will be a Winter 2025 or Spring 2026 graduate with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Fire Protection Engineering or Fire Protection & Safety Engineering Technology. The successful candidate will have a desire to work, grow, and have fun with a multi-discipline engineering team. They are passionate about engineering and looking for an environment that promotes professional growth and technical excellence.This position will support the team in providing our clients with: life safety code analysis; egress analysis; fire resistant rated construction analysis; automatic suppression system design and analysis; fire detection, alarm and communication system design and analysis; smoke control system design and special inspections; site inspections and witnessing of life safety system testing; fire hazard analysis; performance-based design; as well as general fire protection and life safety concepts.The Anchorage Fire Protection Engineering department collectively has 45+ years of experience in Fire Protection Engineering across our department of five, all of whom will provide the successful candidate with training, mentorship, and support to help grow your career.
