South Restaurant + Coffehouse is looking for a Front of House Dinner Service Supervisor to join our team! This position will oversee dinner service and mainly be working evenings (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability is required). The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the front of house staff performance meets the restaurant's service standards, and that they work as a team along with the back of house to ensure complete guest satisfaction. The supervisor must be an active member of the management team with a global view of the restaurant. When the Front of House Manager is not on site, the supervisor must be able to manage the restaurant confidently. Training and advancement opportunities available!South Restaurant + Coffeehouse is a locally owned restaurant that opened in 2015; we offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week.
Qualified applicants will have:Great time management and organizational skillsAt least one year of supervisory or management experience in a high volume restaurant preferred, at least 4 years front of house experience in a high volume restaurant requiredStrong leadership skillsStong, professional communication skillsAbility to adapt and remain positive in a constantly evolving work environmentCurrent ServSafe Certification (preferred) or Municipality of Anchorage approved Food Worker CardCurrent TAM/TIPS cardMust be at least 21 years of age
