OPEN POSITION:
ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER / ESTIMATOR
The successful candidate will be an individual with construction experience managing residential and light commercial construction projects.
This position will allow the candidate to work and learn along side the owner and will include meeting with potential clients, reviewing project drawings to create estimates, coordinating with subcontractors & suppliers, creating project schedules and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or currently pursuing), or five years related construction
experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to manage priorities and multi-task.
- Effective problem solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Possess a valid Alaska state driver's license.
- Proficiency and aptitude in computer applications such as:
o Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Project and Outlook)
o Adobe Acrobat
o Bluebeam
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Pay will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
- Benefits package available.
- Experience with AutoCAD or a similar design program is preferred.
