Position Overview: The Diesel Mechanic A is a skilled and experienced diesel technician with the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of issues pertaining to the wiring, emissions, and/or engines of our late model diesel trucks.
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Competitive pay: $45/Per Hour + Overtime (after 40 hours).

Responsibilities:
Engine, emissions, and wiring diagnostics on late model Volvo, Mack, International and Kenworth class 8 tractors.
Injectors, gear jobs, cam shafts, etc.
Training and guiding less experienced technicians.
Perform A, B, C services, or DOT inspections as needed.
Complete required paperwork and enter data into maintenance databases.
Perform assigned tasks in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
2+ years’ working experience on heavy-duty tractors and trailers.
Advanced knowledge of Diesel engines, ABS, emissions, wiring, air brakes, exhaust, electrical, tires, etc.
High School Diploma/GED, Trade, or Vocational Training preferred.
Proficient in basic computer skills.
Must have adequate tools to perform tasks required.
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position (lifting 100+ lbs., bending, climbing, standing for duration of shift, etc.).
Class A CDL required.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check test.
Effectively read, write, and understand verbal instructions in English.
