Sampson Steel Fabrication Shop seeking qualified Steel fabricators and structural welders.
On shop fabricates; beams, columns, stairs, rails, embed and an array of other "building" related asseccories.
We are not a pipe welding shop, or equipment/trailer repair shop, so that type work history does not apply to our needs.
We are seeking "Fabricators" or "fitters", employees with the ability to productively and accurately fabricate from structural steel shop drawings. Fitters with the ability to weld, is a plus.
We also have an opening for 1 "Welder" position,
This position requires the prospective applicant to pass a 1 inch plate test in a timely manor, via Wire feed welding prior to hire. (sorry, we are not looking for welders in training, unless you are "really good" with other valuable steel shop skills?)
We are a Drug Free Workplace, EVERYONE UA screening prior to hire! And we do random testing.
Drivers license and proven dependable work history will be a plus on your application, we will check references.
We are busy!! This is a full time, year round position for the right person.
Current Work Schedule 4/10's, Monday thru Thursday, and we have been working most Friday's for the past 2 months.
