AT&S, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Accounting Manager / Bookkeeper for our Fairbanks office.

Primary Job Responsibilities

All accounting functions including: A/P, A/R, Payroll, reconciliations, G/L entry & maintenance, and all financial reporting to include EOM, Quarterly, & EOY Federal and State reporting.

HR functions including Benefit & 401K Administration.

Internal reporting as directed by management.

Maintain vendor and customer accounts & relations.

Assist in answering phones & direct front office staff as needed.

Job Requirements

Associates degree in Accounting and/or a high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years experience in direct accounting / office procedures

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook in particular)

Experience with SAGE 300 accounting software a plus

Experience with office machines (e.g. Fax machines and Printers)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience with scheduling, budgeting and payroll

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment

A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements

Ability to take independent ownership of and complete all accounting tasks and responsibilities.

Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: Full-time, exempt (salary) position. Work hours M-F 8am-4:30pm or as required to perform duties.

Compensation: DOE, base annual salary estimated range $55k - $65k

Benefits: Medical benefits available after 60 days employment. Employer paid life insurance after 6 months employment. Employer matched 401k after 1 year employment. Paid holidays & vacation upon hire.
