A construction company here in Fairbanks is hiring a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant.
This position requires candidates to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced team-oriented office environment. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, the ability to multitask and proficiency with Microsoft products specifically Word, Outlook and Excel is required.
Ideally looking for someone with 2-3 years’ administrative office experience.
Job duties will include:
Receptionist duties (in morning):
Opening office
Answering and directing calls
Greeting walk ins
Scanning in documents
Updating Master Forms
Construction Admin. (afternoon)
Scanning and proofing documents
Responding to emails
Communication and tracking between departments.
This is a full-time position Monday thru Friday 730am-430pm with occasional over time and pay starting at $20-$22/HR depending on experience.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
2-3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced busy office environment
Background will be reviewed.
Very proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented and the ability to handle multiple priorities
