Overview:
Our client, a prominent player in the global mining industry, is seeking a Maintenance Specialist for their lab in Fairbanks, Alaska. Headquartered in Australia, our client has teams across the globe, driving innovation and efficiency in mining operations.
What would you be responsible for
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Conduct regular inspections of machinery and facilities to identify and address potential issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to schedule and perform repairs with minimal disruption to lab operations.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
Assist in implementing preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
The right candidate would have
Working or academic Experience in the mining industry or industrial laboratories.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance software.
Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Able and willing to travel and work within the US, Canada and overseas, including at remote locations such as mine sites
Valid rights to work in US and current Driver’s License
