Alaska Nature Tours is seeking full and part-time Naturalist Guides & Class B CDL Drivers to work this upcoming summer season, May through September 2024. Temporary, experienced guides may also be relocated and considered on a contractual basis. Lead wildlife viewing tours by bus and share your knowledge and enthusiasm for Haines, Alaska.
Guides should have an interest in or solid knowledge of the flora and fauna of SE Alaska, be committed to working most of the season, enjoy public speaking, strong attention to details, and a solid team player. We are seeking individuals with good leadership and safety protocol skills. Current CPR, first aid certification required by tour time. Must enjoy working with visitors, being outdoors, and viewing wildlife!
CDL Drivers must have or obtain a Class B CDL (commercial driver license) with air brake & passenger endorsements. Tour Route is 20 miles RT and bus capacity is 30 passengers. Tour stops at several locations where guests get on and off the bus. Ability to carry spotting scopes short distances is required as well as conducting pre-trip bus inspections. This position requires a pre-employment drug screening and CPR & First Aid certification by tour time.

Good pay + tips for full timers and good supplemental earnings for part-timers.
