We are seeking high energy, professional people, who enjoy working with visitors. This position is part-time and seasonal. Each shift is approximately three (3) hours. Shifts vary and are flexible. Season is April 28 - October 1.
You will share Juneau's dining scene and history with guests as you host them through Juneau. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
⢠Passion for tours, visitors, and food
⢠Restaurant, culinary, cooking skills/knowledge helpful
⢠Must have clean, professional demeanor and appearance
⢠Must be punctual
⢠Must be able to work independently
⢠Strong problem solving skills
⢠Excellent verbal communication skills, particularly public speaking
⢠Able to remain calm in an emergency
⢠Able to walk and stand for long periods of time
⢠Able to lift up to 30 pounds
⢠Great sense of humor!
