The following positions are associated with the Gold Creek Salmon Bake, an authentic outdoor Alaskan restaurant in Juneau and are available for immediate hire.
Restaurant Supervisor: Assist the GM and Assistant Manager with daily tasks. Jobs responsibilities may include but not limited to: Training of FOH and Kitchen Staff, Ensuring the guest experience is world class, following and maintaining safety and compliance standards, quality assurance, inventory, and the overall day to day management of staff. We seek candidates with restaurant supervisory or team lead experience. However, the right candidate may be considered if the candidate has previous management experience in a different industry but has worked in a kitchen in the past. Pay is $3600-3800 per month DOE.
Cook: Grill Salmon over open alder wood fire, and serve to customers. Prepare and cook ribs, chicken, and other dishes, monitor food quality, greet customers and establish a welcome atmosphere. $13 per hour
Prep: Chop wood for grill and campfire, set up and maintain cooking fire during meal, load grills with fish and assist cook with serving customers, prepare salads, maintain clean working area, wash dishes, clean restrooms and dining area, replenish salad bar and buffet during meals, and clear tables. Hiring for both Inside Prep and Outside Prep. Multiple shifts are available. $12 per hour.
Dishwasher: Wash dishes, manage utility room(laundry), ensure kitchen is clean, and maintain compliance and safety standards. $12 per hour.
Though we prefer candidates with experience and current ServSafe/Taps certification, we will train the right candidates. Ideal candidates will have a willingness to assist when tasked with additional responsibilities and be able to work as a team. The overall environment is fast paced yet fun.
